Epson Unveils Bold B2B Vision with a Fusion of Innovation and Sustainability Debuts New Inkjet Printers for the Green Office Era and 15 Business Projectors

Epson Thailand has reinforced its market leadership by launching a new range of products, including seven inkjet printer models across the EcoTank and WorkForce series, as well as 15 business projectors in the EB and laser projector lines. This launch is part of a strategic direction focused on delivering powerful innovations that are cost-effective, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly. The company is aiming to expand into high-value markets with long-term growth potential, particularly in the business, education, and modern enterprise sectors that increasingly prioritize sustainability.

Mr. Yunyong Muneemongkoltorn, Managing Director of Epson (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated that the product launch reinforces Epson’s global success as the world’s number one brand in ink tank printers, having held the top sales position for 15 consecutive years with cumulative global sales surpassing 100 million units, as well as the best-selling projector brand from 2001 to 2024. In Thailand, Epson continues to lead the market with a 47% share in ink tank printers and 51% in projectors, reflecting the strong trust placed in the brand by both general consumers and business users. To maintain its leadership, Epson is advancing three key strategies: expanding its mid-to-high segment of EcoTank printers to better serve modern business needs; encouraging consumers to switch from laser printers to more economical and eco-friendly inkjet alternatives through the WorkForce series; and strengthening its presence in the business projector market by focusing on high-brightness models suitable for large spaces or brightly lit rooms.

The newly launched inkjet printers include seven models in total: three from the Epson EcoTank series—L4360, L6370, and L6390; three from the Epson WorkForce Pro series—EM-C800, EM-C8100, and EM-C8101; and one model, the AM-M5500, from the Epson WorkForce Enterprise series.

Mr.Yunyong noted, “Over the past decade, the printer market has undergone a significant transformation, with ink tank printers steadily rising to capture 57% of the total market and as much as 80% of the inkjet segment. This shift reflects changing consumer preferences toward more economical, user-friendly, and environmentally conscious printing solutions. Market research also shows that more than 72% of SMEs prioritize cost control, making the Epson EcoTank an ideal choice to meet these evolving demands. This year, Epson is focusing on the mid-to-high printer segment, which has shown strong growth, reaching a 15% market share in the first quarter of 2025. Epson EcoTank printers are increasingly replacing laser printers, thanks to thier comprehensive features, vibrant colour output, and lower running costs. Notably, within Epson’s portfolio, mid-to-high models generate twice the revenue of entry-level printers, as their primary users—SMEs—typically have higher print volumes and more frequent ink replacements. Epson has set a sales target of over 35,000 units in this segment for 2025, aiming for a 35% market share. To support this goal, we are launching the L4360, L6370, and L6390 models, which offer impressive print speeds, compact and durable design, and low operational costs—helping businesses save on electricity and maintenance expenses efficiently.”

Epson further enhances investment value by offering exceptional durability coverage—up to 50,000 prints for the L4360, and up to 100,000 prints for the L6370 and L6390—making the longest page-based warranty currently available in the market.

Mr.Yunyong explained, “Despite the increasing focus on sustainability, 68% of offices across ASEAN still rely on laser printers in the 21–30 ppm range. To better capture this market segment, Epson developed the EM-C800, aiming to provide a faster, more sustainable alternative. Meanwhile, the growing emphasis on sustainability is beginning to reshape printing habits among regional businesses. However, 34% of corporate decision-makers still mistakenly believe that laser printers are more sustainable than inkjet printers. In response, Epson introduced the EM-C8100 and EM-C8101, specifically designed for offices that demand high daily volumes, exceptional durability, superior performance, and outstanding print quality, while ensuring a healthier work environment and reducing environmental impact.”

The EM-C800 is a compact A4 colour multifunction printer equipped with high-capacity ink packs that deliver up to 50,000 pages in black and 20,000 pages in colour. It features Dual CIS technology, enabling efficient duplex scanning in a single pass. For enhanced security, the printer supports an optional Authentication Device Table, allowing easy and seamless user verification before printing without disrupting workflow. Meanwhile, the EM-C8100 and EM-C8101 are robust A3 colour multifunction printers built to handle high-volume workloads. With high-capacity ink packs yielding up to 86,000 black and 50,000 colour pages, they significantly reduce the frequency of replacements, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted productivity.

The EM-C800, EM-C8100, and EM-C8101 are designed to meet the demands of modern workplaces, including hybrid and digitally connected environments. All three models are integrated with the Epson Solutions Suite—a comprehensive set of tools and software that streamline print management with efficiency, security, and ease of use. This includes Epson Connect, Epson Smart Panel, and Mopria Print Service for seamless mobile and cloud printing, thanks to full cloud and network compatibility. For enhanced document security, Epson Print Admin enables user authentication and PIN-protected printing, while Epson Remote Services simplifies device management across the entire organization—anytime, anywhere. Together, these features allow the new printers to integrate effortlessly into modern IT ecosystems, making them a smart, scalable choice for dynamic workplaces.

The AM-M5500 is an A3 monochrome multifunction printer built for high-volume black-and-white document printing with maximum efficiency. It features Optical Character Recognition (OCR), enabling scanned images to be converted into searchable and editable text. Designed with a sleek, modern curved form, the AM-M5500 is ideal for offices with limited space. Productivity can be further enhanced with an optional Finisher, which supports advanced document finishing tasks such as booklet making.

All seven printer models are designed to meet the needs of modern offices striving to become Green Offices. Powered by Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which eliminates the need for heat in the printing process, these printers have reduced energy consumption of up to 85% compared to consume up to laser printers, significantly cutting electricity costs and Co2 emissions. They also use up to 59% fewer replacement parts and consumables, effectively minimizing waste and long-term maintenance costs. The devices are built with 30% recycled plastic and packaged in boxes made from 80% recycled paper, supporting a circular economy approach. The AM-M5500 model, in particular, includes additional eco-conscious features such as a power consumption monitoring tool and a green leaf icon that lights up when duplex printing or copying is in use, promoting paper-saving behavior. Moreover, all models utilize high-capacity ink packs, reducing replacement frequency and helping organizations meaningfully lower their digital footprint.

Today, Epson also unveiled an impressive lineup of 15 new projector models. This includes seven entry- to mid-level models from the newly launched EB Series, namely the EB-E12, EB-E24, EB-X52, EB-W53, EB-W55, EB-FH54, and EB-W56S. Additionally, Epson introduced eight new laser projectors: the EB-L890E, EB-L690E, EB-L890U, EB-L790U, EB-L690U, EB-L790SE, EB-L690SE, and EB-L690SU.

All seven models in the EB Series are capable of projecting images up to 300 inches in size, with a high brightness level of up to 4,100 lumens, delivering sharp, vivid visuals that remain clear even in well-lit rooms.
