FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 7May, 2026 – World of Coffee Bangkok 2026, a world-class event, reflects the outstanding potential of Thai coffee and aims to position the Thai coffee industry as a key hub in ASEAN. World of Coffee Bangkok 2026 will take place on May 7–9, 2026, at BITEC Bangna in Bangkok, Thailand, officially opening as a global platform that brings together key stakeholders across the international coffee industry.

Launched by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) in 1999, World of Coffee has grown into a leading global coffee industry event, expanding across Europe, Dubai, and Asia as a touring series connecting coffee communities worldwide.
The Asia edition focuses on the rapidly growing Asian coffee market, serving as a platform for innovation, knowledge sharing, and sustainability, while bringing together professionals across the coffee value chain.
World of Coffee continues to drive innovation and growth across the global specialty coffee industry.
Thailand’s specialty coffee market has grown rapidly over the past decade, building a strong ecosystem across the entire value chain. The market is now valued at over 65,000 million Baht, with a high growth rate of around 15% annually. Coffee consumption has also significantly increased, rising from 180 cups per person per year to more than 340 cups.
The Asia-Pacific region has also emerged as a key driver of specialty coffee growth, supported by increasingly sophisticated consumers and a strong café culture, with the industry rapidly shifting toward a value-driven structure.
This momentum has contributed to the launch of World of Coffee Asia edition, reflecting specialty coffee as a continuously expanding global industry rather than a temporary trend.
EXPORUM CEO Danny Hyundae Shin said: “World of Coffee is more than an exhibition – it is a platform where the global coffee industry connects and evolves.
As the World of Coffee Asia Edition continues its journey from Busan to Jakarta, and now to Bangkok this year, our role as the organizer is to create connections that lead to real business and lasting collaboration.
With leading companies and buyers from around the world taking part, Bangkok will stand as a truly global meeting point – where ideas, innovation, and opportunity converge.”
AROMA GROUP Chief Executive Officer Kijja Wongvaree said: “Thailand’s coffee industry has rapidly evolved over the past five years, shifting from price competition toward value creation and quality-driven growth. World of Coffee serves as a platform that strengthens the industry ecosystem by bringing together global partners and key stakeholders. The future of the coffee industry is driven by three core pillars: Connection, Innovation, and Sustainability, which are fully reflected throughout the World of Coffee platform.”
