The Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, led by Mr. Shinji Teratani, Vice Chairman, together with representatives of the foundation, presented a donation of 290,000 baht to Phra Wachira Worakhun (Sermporn Thammawaro), Chairman of the Prateep Dek Thai Foundation, founded by Luang Por Viriyang Sirintharo. The donation will support the development of early childhood centers nationwide in line with the objectives of the “Prateep Dek Thai Project.” This marks the 9th consecutive year of the foundation’s contribution, with the donation ceremony held at Wat Srirattana Thammaram, Samut Prakan Province.
Mr. Shinji Teratani, Vice Chairman of the Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation, stated “The Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation was established in 1991. We firmly believe that sustainable change begins with supporting children through education, proper care, and a safe environment—enabling every child to reach their full potential. This donation, made annually since 2017, marks the 9th year of our continuous support for the construction and development of early childhood centers. This initiative represents one of the foundation’s core missions dedicated to the future of Thai children.
Our contribution is not only financial support, but also a symbol of our long-term commitment to building a better future. We believe that every child deserves access to quality development, and that every community should have sufficient resources to support children. The “Prateep Dek Thai Project” was founded in 1975 by Somdet Phra Yanawachirodom (Luang Por Viriyang Sirintharo) with the vision of improving the quality of life of young children. The project aims to establish early childhood development centers nationwide for children aged 2–6 years, focusing on physical, mental, and cognitive growth. This includes providing nutritious meals, fostering mindfulness, and cultivating skills essential for higher-level learning—fully aligned with Mitsubishi Electric’s global commitment to “Changes for the Better.”
