Awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council, this highest level of green building certification reinforces the tower’s dedication to tangible results. Through the integration of energy management technologies and continuous environmental initiatives, CW Tower continues to advance toward its ultimate goal of Net Zero emissions.

Mr. Pongsak Nantawannakul, Managing Director of CW Towers Co.,Ltd. stated that this achievement stems from a core conviction that modern office buildings must take tangible responsibility for the environment. Consequently, the building has been developed across all dimensions—energy, environment, and the well-being of its occupants—by systematically integrating innovations and energy-efficient systems to elevate building performance to international green standards. Under this sustainability policy, CW Tower has continuously implemented various upgrades and enhancements, including:
· Comprehensive Waste Management: Implementing rigorous waste management initiatives through the ‘Perks from Trash’ and ‘CW Eco Bloom’ projects. - Enhanced Indoor Air Quality: Utilizing the ONNEX Air Scrubber and international-standard ventilation systems, the building maintains concentrations of CO₂, TVOCs, and fine particulate matter (PM) significantly below standard safety thresholds. This ensures a clean, safe, and optimal environment for long-term productivity. Furthermore, CW Tower is the first office building in Thailand to install UV-C Clean Car technology to disinfect elevator surfaces without leaving residues, alongside UV-C Clean Air systems that continuously purify the air while in use. In conjunction with this milestone, Mrs. Upassri Bamrungwong, Business Development and Marketing Director of Nexter Living Co.,Ltd. and the sole importer of ONNEX Air Scrubber technology in Southeast Asia—expressed her pride in partnering with CW Tower. Congratulating the tower on achieving LEED Platinum certification, she noted that the installation of the ONNEX Air Scrubber—an innovation capable of directly capturing CO₂ and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from within the building—enables high-efficiency air treatment. This significantly reduces the volume of outdoor ‘fresh air’ required, thereby lowering the cooling load on the HVAC system and saving energy. Furthermore, it elevates indoor air quality to meet the internationally recognized IAQP (Indoor Air Quality Procedure) standards. This technology addresses both occupant well-being and energy reduction, serving as a primary factor in CW Tower’s Platinum certification. Notably, CW Tower is the first office building in Thailand to officially implement the ONNEX Air Scrubber system.
Mr. Dong Jianping, President of Haier Electrical Appliances (Thailand) Co., Ltd., added—in his dual capacity as both a technology partner and a building tenant—that he is honored by the trust CW Tower has placed in Haier to manage the Air Chiller system. A critical factor in enhancing building efficiency was the transition to Haier’s Water-Cooled Magnetic Bearing Chiller. This oil-free technology, featuring a magnetic bearing and centrifugal compressor, is distinguished by its high efficiency and low energy requirement even under low-load conditions with low starting current and superior overall performance. Additionally, the system is environmentally friendly as it operates without fuel or oil lubricants. Since the installation, the building has achieved energy savings of approximately 30% per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 1,130 tons (TONCO2E/Y). Mr. Dong emphasized Haier’s long-standing commitment to environmental preservation and noted that, as a tenant, he takes great pride in having an office in a building that truly prioritizes sustainability.
