Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) discusses the importance of Seafood from Norway with the Ambassador of Thailand to Norway

Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC), led by Mr. Asbjørn Warvik Rørtveit, Director, South-East Asia (5th from left), was honored by the presence of H.E. Ms. Vimolbajra Ruksakiati, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway (4th from left), at a seafood dinner at Sjømagasinet restaurant in Oslo, Norway, alongside Ms. Urassaya Sperbund, Thai-Norwegian actress (3rd from left), and Thai journalists – Ms. Orapin Yingyongpathana, Senior Editor, Thairath Online (1st from left), and Mr. Noppatjak Attanon, Senior Editor, Workpoint Today (7th from left), during a press trip to promote Seafood from Norway and raise awareness about how Salmon farming can be conducted in a sustainable manner.

The popularity of Norwegian seafood, particularly Salmon, in Thailand has increased significantly thanks to the booming of Japanese restaurants in Bangkok. As Salmon is a versatile product, Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) is aiming to promote the use of Salmon in Thai cuisine and introduce other Norwegian seafood products as a high-quality protein for Thais and a premium ingredient for restaurant businesses.
