- Daystar, the owner the award-winning Buri Rasa Brand and Rasa Hospitality, the management division of the multifaceted Rasa Group, announce their intent to grow regionally with a focus on Vietnam.
While many hospitality organizations remain focused on managing day to day business related to the ongoing Covid pandemic, Rasa Group is looking beyond the day to day challenges with forward expansion as a goal, both within Thailand and regionally with particular focus on Vietnam.
‘As many hospitality organizations, we are currently staying abreast of our daily operations during the ongoing challenges related to the pandemic, but we are also looking beyond. Our groups experience in business and real estate has proven that if we do not grow, we lose our competitive advantage. With that said we are pursuing our long standing passion for hospitality and love for Vietnam, seeking unique opportunities for hospitality investments in key destinations such as Phu Quoc, Danang, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. With funding available and goals clear, we are beginning our journey toward the future. Along the way, we would also welcome any JV partner who’s vision aligns with ours.’ Michael S. Howard, Director & SVP Resort Division.
Rasa Group currently owns and operates high rise towers in Bangkok, Rasa Tower & Rasa Two, is an active historical player in residential development and owns and operates the Buri Rasa Village Resorts in Koh Samui & Koh Phangan, as well as Pai Village in Mae Hong Son. The group also owns Anantara Rasananda in Koh Phangan where they are noted for outsanding conceptual design and development. In addition to overseeing the above, the hospitality division was also lead conceptual developer and provides full turnkey 3 rd party management for the domestic favorite luxury Ryokan, Onsen @ Moncham in Mae Rim. All properties are award-winning both regionally and globally having taken home numerous World’s Best Travel Awards.
