Through Integrated Living and Working Environments

Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited (SPI) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tokyu Corporation, one of Japan’s leading urban development companies, and Saha Tokyu Corporation Co., Ltd. (Saha Tokyu) to jointly study the feasibility of future development projects in Sriracha, Chonburi Province.

The MOU was signed by Mr. Vorayos Thongtan., President of SPI; Mr. Yoshinori Ogata, Executive Officer and Executive General Manager, International Business Division of Tokyu Corporation; and Mr. Masahiko Nishimoto, Managing Director and Mr. Jakkrit Santirattanakul, Director of Saha Tokyu.

The collaboration aims to unlock the long-term potential of Sriracha as a future-oriented hub for living, working, and investment under the concepts of “Modern Working Place” and “Plenary Living Area.” The initiative is designed to support the growth of emerging industries and investment opportunities within Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).

Mr. Vorayos Thongtan., President of SPI, said “Sriracha is one of Thailand’s most strategically important locations and serves as a key economic center within the Eastern Economic Corridor. This collaboration between SPI, Tokyu, and Saha Tokyu reflects our shared vision to explore and establish the foundations for a completely enriching development that seamlessly integrates living, working, and investment opportunities.

By combining the strengths of all three organizations—including Tokyu’s expertise in urban development, Saha Tokyu’s experience in real estate and community development, and SPI’s extensive land assets and local capabilities—we aim to create a new business ecosystem and quality living environment capable of supporting long-term economic growth and investment. Together, we aspire to elevate Sriracha into a premier destination for global investors and highly skilled talent.”

SPI will contribute its strategic land resources and development capabilities in Sriracha, while Tokyu Corporation brings more than a century of experience in urban development and community building. Saha Tokyuwill support business development and project management activities to enhance the area’s competitiveness and create sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Mr. Yoshinori Ogata, Executive Officer and Executive General Manager, International Business Division of Tokyu Corporation, said “For over 100 years, Tokyu has been working to solve social issues through community building. Beyond Japan, we are advancing sustainable urban development in Vietnam and Australia, maximizing our cultivated expertise while deeply respecting local cultures and customs.

In Thailand, we have built a strong and long-lasting partnership with the Saha Group since starting our business in Sriracha in 2014. We are also working together on a redevelopment project led by the Saha Group in the capital city of Bangkok.

The signing of this MOU takes our trusted relationship to the next level. The planned development area has great potential, especially with the nearby construction of a new highway service area and access points. By combining the strengths of our three companies, we will work together to create a truly high-quality living environment in Sriracha.

We will continue to work closely with the Saha Group. Together, we are committed to accelerating our community building efforts to drive the city’s future growth and create a quality living environment.”

Mr. Masahiko Nishimoto, Managing Director of Saha Tokyu Corporation Co., Ltd., added “For more than a decade, Saha Tokyu has been dedicated to creating high-quality residential environments in Sriracha to support Japanese expatriates and their families living and working in Thailand. Throughout this journey, we have witnessed the city’s remarkable growth and untapped potential.

This collaboration represents an important opportunity to build upon the strengths of our three organizations and explore new development possibilities that will enhance community value, stimulate economic growth, and improve quality of life in a sustainable manner. Furthermore, Saha Tokyu will utilize our experience in managing rental housing in Sriracha, accumulated over more than 10 years, to strongly advance business development”

The Feasibility study will remain in effect for three years, during which the partners will conduct studies and formulate development strategies for the next 10–20 years across selected 700 -Rai land parcels owned by the Saha Group in Sriracha.

The envisioned development framework will focus on creating a model city of the future under the concepts of “Modern Working Place” and “Plenary Living Area,” integrating education, residential, commercial, business, and lifestyle components into a balanced and connected environment. The project is expected to support future economic expansion, attract investment, and accommodate next-generation industries within the EEC.

The three organizations share a common goal of developing innovative urban solutions that address evolving global economic trends and the aspirations of future generations. By leveraging their respective strengths, the partners seek to attract advanced industries, international businesses, and high-quality talent while fostering sustainable urban growth.

The signing of this MOU marks an important first step toward laying the foundation for Sriracha’s transformation into a future-ready city. The initiative is expected to enhance economic value, improve quality of life, and strengthen the area’s long-term competitiveness, positioning Sriracha as an internationally recognized economic and lifestyle hub within Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor.
