J&T Express, a leading global logistics service provider, in collaboration with Ban Phai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the Ban Phai District Community Development Office, and Ban Lawa Community Enterprise, organized a business and logistics knowledge-sharing workshop under the “J&T Supports Local” Program (Year 3) in Ban Lawa Community, Ban Phai District, Khon Kaen Province. The initiative aims to support local entrepreneurs in developing their businesses, expanding market access, and improving logistics management efficiency, thereby contributing to sustainable income generation and long-term economic growth within the community. The event attracted strong participation from local entrepreneurs.

The workshop focused on practical business needs of local entrepreneurs, covering key topics such as starting an online business, content creation and product storytelling to enhance value, effective communication strategies to reach target audiences, as well as logistics cost management, packaging optimization, and selecting appropriate delivery services. These sessions were designed to improve operational efficiency and strengthen participants’ market competitiveness.
Ban Lawa community is well known for its processed food products, handwoven textiles, and OTOP (One Tambon One Product) goods. However, local entrepreneurs still face challenges in market access and logistics management. This training leveraged J&T Express’s expertise in business operations and logistics management to provide practical, targeted solutions, enabling local products to reach broader markets more effectively.
Mr. Sean Chiang, Public Affairs Director of J&T Express, stated: “J&T Express believes that logistics connects not only goods, but also opportunities for development. With our experience in logistics and supply chain management, we aim to help local entrepreneurs enhance their business efficiency, reduce logistics barriers, and enable high-quality local products to access wider markets, ultimately creating sustainable value for communities.”
Ms. Wassana Kaewna, Chief of the Ban Phai District Community Development Office, said: “We would like to thank J&T Express for its continued support of local entrepreneurs. This training provided practical knowledge, particularly on enhancing the value of community products through storytelling. We hope the insights gained will help strengthen entrepreneurs’ capabilities and contribute to the growth of the local economy.”
The “J&T Supports Local” program is part of J&T Express Thailand’s sustainability initiatives aimed at supporting community development. Over the past three years, the program has been implemented across multiple regions nationwide, sharing business and logistics knowledge to enhance the market competitiveness of local entrepreneurs. Moving forward, J&T Express will continue leveraging its nationwide logistics network and supply chain capabilities to support the expansion of community products to broader markets and contribute to the sustainable development of local economies across Thailand.
