Bangkok Art Auction Presents “The Prime Exclusive Auction & Private Sales 2026″ Over 100 Masterpieces Featured, Including Charity Auction Works Supporting Three Major Hospitals on 5 July

Bangkok Art Auction, one of Thailand’s leading art auction houses, is pleased to announce its major annual event, “The Prime Exclusive Auction & Private Sales 2026.” The event brings together 113 carefully selected works of art, offering collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to view the collection up close in an intimate setting at Kunawong House Museum, ahead of the auction on 5 July 2026. 

Mr. Sermkhun Kunawong, Chairman of Bangkok Art Auction, said that The Prime Exclusive Auction & Private Sales 2026 is a major highlight, featuring works by master artists, legendary Thai artists, and some of the country’s most exciting contemporary artists. He added that the company is honoured  to help create positive social impact through its charity auction in support of Thai hospitals and public health organizations. 

The event features 98 auction lots and 15 Private Sales works. Highlights include:

– A masterpiece from Pratuang Emjaroen’s “Cosmology” period, reflecting the light of nature and the vitality of life.

– Two works by Thawan Duchanee, including a large-scale oil painting presenting powerful anatomy, and a later-period work exploring religious themes through exquisite Thai decorative motifs.

– “The Fragment and the Sublime I” (2006) by Natee Utarit, presenting the concept of fragmentation through the symbol of David.

– “Radiant Through Dharma” (1999) by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a rare oil painting portraying the serene face of the Buddha.

– “Portrait of India” (1994) by Angkarn Kalayanapong, a pastel on paper work that unfolds a narrative within a vast cosmic universe.

– “Planting the Forest” (1992) by Chalood Nimsamer, a classic tempera on mulberry paper work.

– “Curve / Growth” (1965) by Chamruang Vichienkiet, a semi-abstract sculpture by one of Thailand’s pioneering abstract sculptors.

– “Saved by Dokodemo Door” (2020) by Takashi Murakami, a globally celebrated collaboration with Doraemon.

Charity Auction Lot Another highlight of the event is the presentation of four special Charity Lots, with all proceeds donated to charitable organizations without any deductions:

– Lot 44: “Heavenly Abode Within the Mind” (2008) by Chalermchai Kositpipat – All proceeds donated to Siriraj Foundation.

– Lot 66: “Together in the Heavenly Realm” (2008) by Chalermchai Kositpipat – All proceeds donated to Ramathibodi Foundation.

– Lot 65: Portraits of King Rama IX & Queen Sirikit (2006) by Chakrabhand Posayakrit – All proceeds donated to Ramathibodi Foundation.

– Lot 96: “Sweet Rest in the Silence Night 3” (2015) by Watchara Klakhakhai – The hammer price will be donated to the Thai Red Cross Society.

The auction will be held on Sunday, 5 July 2026, from 2:00 p.m. onwards, at Kunawong House Museum, Soi Ladprao 54.
