Delegates from 27 nations deliver landmark three-pillar, shape policy recommendations at UTCC, building legislative momentum for Thailand’s official bid to host WorldPride 2030.
Miss International Queen®, founded and organised by Tiffany’s Show Pattaya Co., Ltd., joined forces with the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) and Bangkok Pride to host The World Equality Forum: “VOICES OF POSSIBILITY” at the UTCC Grand Auditorium. Marking the 20th anniversary of Miss International Queen®, the landmark academic forum expanded the role of global pageantry beyond stage visibility, creating a platform for policy advocacy, corporate accountability and international dialogue on human rights.
Convening under the 2026 global mandate “Empower Every Voice,” the 27 national delegates competing for the Miss International Queen 2026 crown delivered keynote addresses and shared firsthand policy insights across three core pillars:
- Legal Identity & Human Rights: Accelerating legal gender recognition, official name change mechanisms, universal marriage equality, and cross-border protections for transgender individuals.
- Economic Equity & Career Growth: Eradicating hiring bias, breaking corporate glass ceilings for diverse talent, and unlocking the commercial power of the multi-trillion-dollar global inclusive economy.
- Healthcare, Bodily Autonomy & Safe Spaces: Establishing non-discriminatory healthcare standards, expanding affirming mental health networks for LGBTQ+ youth, and engineering safer, harassment-free urban infrastructure.
Visionary Leadership Driving Policy Action
Alisa Phanthusak Kunpalin, Managing Director of Tiffany’s Show Pattaya and President of the Miss International Queen Organization, emphasized: “Over the past two decades, Miss International Queen has evolved from a historic stage into an enduring international institution of dignity, empowerment, and leadership. Ann (Waaddao) Chumaporn: Co-Founder of Bangkok Pride, President and Founder of Naruemit Pride and Organizer of the Bangkok Pride Festival, outlined the strategic roadmap toward WorldPride: “The undeniable momentum of Bangkok Pride, fueled by visionary alliances with Tiffany’s Show Pattaya and MIQ, forms a critical bridge connecting grassroots movements to the global stage. Our objective is to translate the policy recommendations established across today’s three pillars into actionable legislative measures for the Thai Parliament—specifically championing the swift implementation of Marriage Equality, the Non-Discrimination Act, and the Gender Recognition Act. This united front solidifies Thailand’s status as a global standard-bearer for human rights as we advance our national bid to host WorldPride 2030.”

The forum welcomed more than 300 university scholars, corporate executives, foreign diplomats, civil society leaders, and accredited international journalists in person, with thousands tuning in worldwide via the official YouTube live broadcast (@MissInternationalQueen).
