ExxonMobil Inspires Future Innovators Through Hands-On AI & Smart Systems Program

ExxonMobil Limited supported the Engineering Upskill program under the theme Hands-on AI & Smart System, empowering high school students with practical experience in building prototype systems that integrate software and hardware. The initiative strengthens core engineering fundamentals and bridges learning with real-world application. The program is organized by the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University.

Dr. Taweesak Bunluesin, public & government affairs manager, and Woranun Sakulsiritarakul, public & government affairs advisor, ExxonMobil Limited joined the opening ceremony alongside Associate Professor Yuen Poovarawan, the lead instructor and Associate Professor Dr. Jittat Fakcharoenphol, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering.

This year, the program attracted over 200 applicants nationwide, with 40 students from 23 provinces selected for an intensive two-day workshop at the Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University.

The program focuses on developing future-ready skills—including critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication—essential for 21st-century professionals, while enhancing the competitiveness of Thai youth, and contributing to sustainable national development.

This initiative reflects ExxonMobil’s commitment to empowering Thai youth through STEM education. It aligns with the company’s broader mission to support Thailand’s transition toward a sustainable energy future.
