Russian Orthodox Church presents prestigious decorations in Thailand

His Eminence Metropolitan Sergius of Singapore, Patriarchal Exarch in South-east Asia (5th from right), recently flew into Thailand to present prestigious decorations on behalf of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of All Russia to M.R. Malinee Chakrabandhu (front row center), M.L. Poomchai Chumbala (3rd from right), Maj. Gen. M.L. Permvudhi Svasti (6th from left), Countess Raine Boschetti (2nd from right), Mr. Noppadon Khamsai (right), Mrs. Thipvibha Guna-Tilaka (4th from left), Ms. Chutinun Guna-Tilaka (3rd from left) and representative for Mrs. Siriwimol Sithiprasanana (5th from left) at St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral in Bangkok.  The high-ranking decorations were bestowed to each recipient in recognition of their contribution in strengthening relations between the Church and the local community and other fields of work for the betterment of the Orthodox faith in Thailand.  His Eminence Archimandrite Oleg (Tcherepanine) (2nd from left), and Mr. Alexey Tyutin (right),the  newly-appointed Church Warden of St. Nicholas Cathedral, were also present to witness the presentation ceremony.
