As Southeast Asia’s power sector faces mounting pressure to deliver secure, affordable, and low-carbon energy, Enlit Asia 2025 is set to return to Bangkok from 9–11 September at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The event will convene over 12,000 energy professionals from across the ASEAN region, offering a critical platform to shape the next phase of the region’s energy transition.

With energy systems under strain from volatile fuel prices, decarbonisation targets, and rising demand, this year’s Enlit Asia comes at a pivotal moment. Industry leaders, government representatives, and technology providers will gather to address the most pressing questions facing ASEAN’s energy future; from renewable integration and grid stability to regulatory alignment and investment priorities.
Hosted by Thailand’s Ministry of Energy, along with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), and Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), and with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) as a supporting agency, the event is firmly embedded in the national and regional energy agenda.
“Enlit Asia offers a valuable platform to align our efforts with ASEAN’s collective energy transition goals,” said Dr. Sompop Pattanariyankool, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy. “We look forward to contributing to the regional dialogue and showcasing Thailand’s progress.”
With Thailand exploring its role as a regional power hub and transit corridor, and key decisions looming over power mix, electricity tariffs, and technology deployment, Enlit Asia will spotlight how the country is navigating its own complex energy path.
“This event is a vital opportunity to advance discussions on transmission infrastructure, electrification projects, and renewable energy adoption,” said Pongsakorn Yuthagovit, Deputy Governor of PEA.
Conference highlights include:
- Strategic Summit sessions on decarbonisation, system flexibility, and regional interconnection
- In-depth panels on regulatory frameworks and cross-border power trade
- Free-to-attend Knowledge Hubs featuring practical, on-floor sessions on EV infrastructure, AI, grid digitalisation, and energy management – with content available in both English and Thai
