Nestlé, the world’s leading food and beverage company, announced the appointment of Mr. Nikhil Chand as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Indochina (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia), effective July 1, 2026.

Mr. Chand succeeds Mr. Victor Seah, who will retire after a distinguished career with Nestlé, including eight successful years leading the Indochina Market. During this time, Mr. Seah delivered sustainable growth, strengthened business foundations, and enhanced Nestlé’s contributions to Thailand, notably through support for Thai coffee farmers and the health and well-being of local consumers.
Mr. Chand brings close to three decades of global experience with Nestlé. Since joining in India in 1998, he has progressed through a series of successful commercial leadership roles across markets worldwide, including Brazil, Chile, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Russia, and Singapore. In these roles, he has successfully driven growth for key brands across various categories—from confectionery to food—while building high-performing teams.
Prior to this most recent appointment, he served as Head of the Food Strategic Business Unit for Nestlé at the headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland, where he led the development of the first All Food Global Business Strategy and advanced impactful innovation and renovation platforms grounded in a deep understanding of evolving and diverse consumer lifestyles.
“I am honored to take on this role and to be part of the incredible Nestlé team in the region, where there are tremendous opportunities,” said Mr. Chand. “Nestlé has been in Thailand for over 133 years, reflecting our strong commitment to the country and the trust we have earned over time. Guided by our Creating Shared Value philosophy and strong ethical practices, Nestlé has been consistently recognized as Thailand’s most admired F&B company. I will build on this strong foundation to drive business success while creating positive impact for our consumers, customers, partners, employees, and stakeholders.”
