Sri Trang Group proudly announces a significant achievement with the attainment of the FSC™ certification for sustainable forest management, covering a total plantation area of 48,473 rai representing 100% of the Group’s rubber plantations. This certification demonstrates the Group’s full compliance with international standards across social, economic, and environmental dimensions, reinforcing commitment to sustainable business practices and global standards. The accomplishment underscores Sri Trang Group’s dedication to fostering confidence among stakeholders throughout the entire value chain from upstream to downstream while advancing the Company’s long-term sustainability vision and leadership in the global rubber industry.

Mr. Veerasith Sinchareonkul, Chief Executive Officer of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA), the world’s largest fully integrated natural rubber enterprise and Thailand’s leading rubber glove manufacturer, announced that the rubber plantation areas under Sri Trang Group, managed by Sri Trang Rubber and Plantation Co., Ltd. (SRP), have achieved certification under the internationally recognized Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™ – C149411). The certification now covers 100% of the plantation areas, an increase from 70% in 2022. The Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™) is the world’s leading organization in the certification and promotion of responsible forest management. This achievement represents a significant milestone that underscores Sri Trang Group’s strong commitment to sustainability under its mission of Traceability ensuring transparent and verifiable tracking throughout the entire supply chain. The certification reinforces consumer confidence that Sri Trang’s products are produced ethically and sustainably, while marking an important step in advancing Thailand’s natural rubber industry to the global stage.
This year, the FSC™ certification covers a total plantation area of 48,473.58 rai, comprising 41,303.58 rai of rubber plantations owned by SRP, 1,934.65 rai of managed plantation areas under SRP’s supervision, and 5,235.35 rai of community forests. These areas are managed in compliance with international standards across social, economic, and environmental dimensions. Key initiatives include promoting sustainable rubber cultivation from selecting suitable, high-yield rubber varieties and improving soil structure to providing technical knowledge and training on proper tapping techniques. The Company also supports continuous local employment, develops occupational health and safety knowledge, and ensures plantation management practices that minimize environmental and community impacts. Additionally, SRP actively contributes to forest conservation efforts to maintain ecological balance and biodiversity within the plantation and surrounding areas.
