Krungsri Auto, a leader in automotive finance under Bank of Ayudhya PCL, announced the performance of its motorcycle loan portfolio for the first half of 2026, which grew by 9% to reach THB 40,166 million. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the company is moving forward with its ambition to build Thailand’s first comprehensive ecosystem for motorcycle riders, connecting services across every stage of the riding journey through its nationwide partner network. This strategy will further reinforce Krungsri Auto’s position as a leading provider of comprehensive motorcycle financing solutions.

Mr. Pornthep Tirasuntrakul, Managing Director of Ayudhya Capital Auto Lease PCL. said, “Thailand’s motorcycle market continued to face challenges in the first half of 2026, pressured by highhousehold debt, a domestic economy that continues to recover at a measured pace, and ongoing uncertainty in the global economic environment. Nevertheless, positive signs emerged across certain motorcycle segments, particularly those serving to commuting and income-generating activities[1]. Krungsri Auto remains committed to delivering customer experiences, financial solutions, and financing services that enable motorcycle riders to own their vehicles with confidence, convenience, and speed. Digital channels were also a key driver of our growth in the first half, with new loans volume through these channels increasing by 18% year-on-year.”

“As a result, Krungsri Auto’s new motorcycle loan volume grew by 8% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reflecting continued strong demand for motorcycle financing. We also maintained our position as the No.1 motorcycle finance lender, with outstanding portfolio surpassing THB 40,000 million, reaffirming our leadership in the motorcycle financing market and our ability to meet the diverse needs of motorcycle users, Mr. Pornthep added.

In the second half of 2026, drawing on more than two decades of experience in motorcycle financing and a strong nationwide partner network, Krungsri Auto is ready to meet the needs of motorcycle riders across every dimension, moving forward to build Thailand’s first comprehensive ecosystem for motorcycle riders through three key drivers:

“While Thailand’s motorcycle market is expected to remain uncertain for the rest of 2026 amid economic challenges, Krungsri Auto remains confident in strengthening its market leadership, supported by more than two decades of experience and expertise. We are committed in achieving our outstanding portfolio target of THB 42,061 million and increasing our market share to 45% by the end of 2026,” Mr. Pornthep concluded.
