BANGKOK, Thailand (August 2026) – Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) Senior Vice President of Operations – Asia, Wayne Woods, is delighted to announce key executive appointments and a regional promotion across the group’s growing portfolio: Pasinee Sedvorakul as General Manager of U Sathorn Bangkok, Chamchuree Soisungwan as General Manager of U Phitsanulok, David Calvet as General Manager of Eastin Hotel Vientiane Laos, and Kanokwan Krootbin (Tak) as Area Human Resources Manager – Eastern Seaboard.

She brings extensive leadership experience to her new role, having previously served as General Manager at Mercure Phuket Patong Journeyhub, Resident Manager at RXV Wellness Village Sampran, and Hotel Manager at Centara Sonrisa Residence & Suites Sriracha. Her distinguished career also includes Director of Rooms positions at Rembrandt Hotel and Suites and Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, complemented by proven task-force leadership in managing international brand transitions.
Chamchuree Soisungwan as General Manager at U Phitsanulok. Chamchuree holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (2nd Class Honours) from Chiang Mai University. She brings a strong operational background, having previously served as General Manager overseeing dual properties for Fortune Hotel Group in Khao Yai and Hotel Manager at Fortune D Hotel Phitsanulok. Throughout her career, she has proven to be an expert in P&L optimisation, team coaching, and driving improvements in guest satisfaction scores across major booking platforms.
David Calvet as General Manager of Eastin Hotel Vientiane, Laos
David brings extensive international hospitality management experience across Asia and Europe, specialising in P&L optimisation, brand strategy, and hotel operations. His seasoned career includes leadership roles as General Manager at Eastin Resort Rayong, Tawaravadee Resort, and ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 50, as well as senior positions with globally recognised brands such as Four Seasons, Sheraton, and Anantara.
Kanokwan Krootbin (Tak) – Area Human Resources Manager, Eastern SeaboardKanokwan Krootbin has been promoted to Area Human Resources Manager – Eastern Seaboard. Remaining based at U Pattaya, where she continues as Human Resources Manager, Tak will now oversee HR operations across all AHS-managed properties on the Eastern Seaboard, supporting both operating and pre-opening developments. She will focus on standardising HR policies and brand standards while leading talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management.
