Jaspal Group expands Its premium fashion portfolio by opening Marithé + François Girbaud’s first Southeast Asian flagship store at Emphere; 2nd flagship store planned for Q3 2025

Jaspal Group is accelerating its penetration into the premium fashion market by acquiring sole distribution rights in Thailand for Marithé + François Girbaud, a renowned French fashion brand. The brand, known for its success in South Korea and across Asia, is set to open its first flagship store in Thailand – and Southeast Asia – on the M floor of Bangkok’s Emsphere shopping center.

Mr. Yosathep Singhsachathet, Deputy CEO of Jaspal Group, said: “This is the latest addition to Jaspal Group’s growing portfolio of imported fashion brands. Alongside established names like Asics, Fred Perry, Diesel, Puma, Melissa, and Ipanema, Marithé + François Girbaud reflects our strategy of diversification to meet changing consumer behaviours, particularly among the new generation who seek fashion brands with clear, distinct identities.”

With a dedicated following in Asia, especially South Korea, and a distinct design DNA, Marithé + François Girbaud adds a fresh dimension to Jaspal Group’s offerings, Mr. Yosathep added.

In addition to the flagship store opening at Emsphere, Jaspal Group also launched The Marithé + François Girbaud brand at Central Chidlom in April 2025. Jaspal Group plans to open a second Marithé + François Girbaud flagship store at CentralWorld in the third quarter of 2025 – strategically targeting business districts, urban shoppers and international tourists, Mr. Yosathep said.

Founded by Parisian design duo Marithé Bachellerie and François Girbaud, the Marithé + François Girbaud brand fuses French sophistication with cutting-edge streetwear aesthetics. The brand has become iconic, especially in South Korea, resonating with fashion-forward youth and trendsetters drawn to its originality and flair. The Emsphere flagship store showcases the brand’s full range, namely:

  • Marithé + François Girbaud: The main line that blends high-end fashion with European streetwear;
  • Marithé + François Girbaud Mouvement: A casual athleisure line, ideal for golf, tennis and swimming and any other indoor sports;
  • Marithé + François Girbaud Kids: Stylish children’s pieces with cute and stylish graphics that echo the signature adult line and are designed around the playful “Family Look” concept.

The flagship store’s interior reflects the brand’s French roots, using curved natural wood elements and brushed stainless steel to create a modern, elegant space that enhances the shopping experience.
