Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) has released new data on KTC FOREVER point redemption behavior for the first nine months of 2026, showing that card spending associated with point redemptions grew 27%, while redemption transactions increased 15% from the same period a year earlier.

The trend becomes even more pronounced toward year-end, traditionally a high season for travel, celebrations, and shopping. From November 2025 through January 2026, average monthly spending on KTC credit cards was approximately 10% higher than during regular periods, while average monthly point redemptions in the fourth quarter of 2025 were approximately 12% higher than the average for the first three quarters. Dining, department stores, sports, entertainment, and travel ranked as the top five redemption categories.
Ms. Pranaya Nithananon, Head of Credit Card Marketing at KTC, said, “The value of loyalty points is not defined by how many points members accumulate, but by how effectively those points can be put to use. One of the key strengths of KTC FOREVER is the flexibility it gives members to redeem points across a wide range of channels and merchants, whether for products and services or for discounts combined with payments made using KTC credit cards. This allows accumulated points to deliver tangible value in everyday spending, as reflected in the 15% increase in redemption transactions and the 27% growth in card spending associated with point redemptions.”
KTC FOREVER FIRE Ignites the Value of Points for Year-End Spending
Building on this behavior, KTC is launching “KTC FOREVER FIRE” under the concept “Ignite Every Point, Unlock More Value in Every Deal” from November 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027. The campaign brings together more than 300 brands across 10,000 locations nationwide, spanning dining, shopping, travel, and lifestyle. It offers two redemption formats: “Friday Fire,” featuring special deals every Friday, and “Everyday Fire,” offering redemption benefits throughout the campaign period. KTC is targeting a 7% year-on-year increase in card spending during the campaign.
A key highlight is “Friday Fire – 13 Fridays,” which allows members to redeem KTC FOREVER points at the special rate of 1 KTC FOREVER point = 1 baht through the KTC Mobile app every Friday for 13 consecutive weeks, from November 6, 2026, through January 29, 2027. At 3:00 p.m. each Friday, members can access three special partner deals, rotated weekly, with more than 20,000 offers available throughout the campaign.
At 6:00 p.m. every Friday, the “Super Deal” allows members to redeem 52,900 KTC FOREVER points for an iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB in Burgundy, valued at 52,900 baht. One device will be available each week, for a total of 13 devices during the campaign, clearly demonstrating the special redemption value of 1 point = 1 baht.
Members can also use KTC FOREVER points through “Everyday Fire” throughout the campaign period to redeem discounts or statement credits of up to 50%, subject to the terms and conditions of each participating offer. This gives members greater flexibility to use their points for both limited-time deals and everyday spending.
