As the competition entered its final stretch, delegates representing 27 countries took to the stage for the Miss International Queen® 2026 Preliminary Competition at Tiffany’s Show Theatre, Pattaya, showcasing their confidence, charisma and individuality ahead of The Crowning Finale on September 19. Celebrating the pageant’s 20th anniversary under this year’s theme, “The Evolving Legacy: Empower Every Voice,” the evening unfolded as a spectacular showcase of color, excitement and the boundless power of diversity.
The event opened with welcoming remarks and the introduction of the National Directors, whose important role is to identify and prepare each country’s representative for the global stage.
The atmosphere inside the theatre then reached new heights as all 27 delegates appeared in the Swimwear and Evening Gown competitions, greeted by cheers from pageant fans in attendance and viewers tuning in from around the world.
Confidence in Every Step: Swimwear Competition
The Swimwear Competition gave the delegates an opportunity to express their personality, strength and stage presence in swimwear by ANGELYS BALEK. Every stride reflected the dedication and preparation behind their journey, bringing color and energy to the theatre. More than a presentation of physical beauty, the round tested stage command, natural poise and each delegate’s ability to express her authentic self before the judging panel and audiences worldwide.
Elegance in the Spotlight: Evening Gown Competition
Moving from the vibrant confidence of the swimwear round, the stage shifted into an atmosphere of high glamour for the Evening Gown Competition. The delegates appeared in gowns designed to reflect their individual personalities and stories. Every element – from the design and movement of each gown to the emotion conveyed on stage – revealed elegance, maturity and readiness to become the next Miss International Queen®.
Reflection (2026): A Legendary 2007 Production Reimagined for the Global Stage
The evening was further enriched by “Reflection (2026),” a special performance by Tiffany’s Show Pattaya that brought a legendary production from 2007 back to the stage in a bold contemporary interpretation, elevated through striking production, lighting, sound and the company’s signature performance artistry.
As the magic of the mirror returned, reflections of the past, present and future came together once more. Memories were brought vividly back to life through music, nostalgia and spectacular performance, tracing beauty through time and creating another memorable moment on the international stage of the Miss International Queen® 2026 Preliminary Competition.
Voice, Vision and Perspective: Speech Competition
Following the Evening Gown Competition, the delegates faced another important challenge in the Speech Competition, responding within a set time to the question:
“For 20 years, Miss International Queen® has created meaningful change in advancing equality. If you had the power to make one significant change to create a more equal world for everyone, what would you change?”
The round gave each delegate the opportunity to express her vision, convictions and ideas about equality. Their speeches reflected not only personal perspectives and experiences, but also the confidence and strength of the voices they hope to carry into society – true to the spirit of “The Evolving Legacy: Empower Every Voice” and its belief in the value of every voice to inspire meaningful change.
Scores from the Speech Competition will be combined with those from the Swimwear and Evening Gown rounds to determine the delegates advancing to the next stage.
Best Performance: Fast Track to the Top 12
Another eagerly awaited moment was the announcement of the Best Performance in the Preliminary award, presented to the delegate who delivered an outstanding performance throughout the Preliminary Competition through her personality, confidence, self-expression and stage presence.
The award was presented : Teerachaya Pimkitidaj, Miss International Queen Thailand, securing an automatic Fast Track place in the Top 12 at The Crowning Finale.
The evening also saw the presentation of Miss Congeniality and a series of special awards supported by lead sponsor Wansiri Hospital, including:

The Preliminary Competition marked a defining test ahead of the final night. Every delegate gave her all to demonstrate her readiness to become the next Miss International Queen® – a title that carries not only the honor of the crown, but also the responsibility to represent equality, the courage to speak out and the power of a voice that can inspire people around the world.
