“KOMEHYO” Reaffirms Pre-Loved Luxury Market Leader’s Status in its 9th Year in Thailand, Launches Membership Program for “Sellers-Buyers” Outside Japan for the First Time

KOMEHYO, Japan’s leading provider of second-hand luxury brand name products, elevates its service experience to reinforce its leading position among Thailand’s pre-loved luxury shops. Stepping into its 9th year in Thailand, the company now launches its first membership program outside Japan. This outstanding program awards reward points not only to buyers, but also to customers who sell items to KOMEHYO. Members can redeem their points for discounts or special gifts through the Reward system.

Mr. Toru Imai, Managing Director of SAHA KOMEHYO Co., Ltd, revealed KOMEHYO operates under the philosophy of “Relay Use” so that people can pass on items no longer in use to those who will cherish them, maximizing their utility and efficiency, alongside the concept of “Spread Joy, Spark Happiness” that enables the endless sharing of delight. Over the years, KOMEHYO has consistently earned the trust of Thai consumers, reflecting Thailand’s potential and importance as one of KOMEHYO’s key markets outside Japan. The company is also committed to continuously expanding its business and elevating service experience in response to Thai consumers’ needs. Currently, it operates eight stores and one Buying Center in Thailand, with a total of nine service locations across Bangkok and nearby areas.

“KOMEHYO’s key strength and essence lie in customer trust and Japanese-style standards. Backed by over 79 years of experience since our founding in 1947, we have meticulously authenticated every item—be it handbag or watch—through our experts. They have received specialized training under our proprietary standards, ensuring customer confidence throughout the buying and selling process. In addition, KOMEHYO offers private lounges to provide customers with comfort and privacy,” he said.

The launch of this membership program in Thailand marks a significant milestone in KOMEHYO’s enhancement of customer experience. Its members can now accumulate points from both purchasing and selling items at KOMEHYO, unlike conventional loyalty programs, which typically offer benefits only to buyers. Accumulated points can be redeemed for discounts or special gifts through the membership program’s reward system.

To accumulate points, members just need to either make purchases or sell products at KOMEHYO. They can then redeem points through the membership’s reward system to claim discounts or gifts. Details of point accrual rates and redemption benefits are subject to the company’s terms and conditions.

“Awarding points to sellers is one of KOMEHYO’s strategies to promote the Circular Economy and integrate the ‘Relay Use’ philosophy into daily life. This encourages consumers to maximize resource efficiency and sustains the circulation of luxury goods by bringing unused items back into the trading system to find new owners. We expect this membership program to further expand our member base in Thailand before the end of 2026,” Mr. Imai said.

Those interested in passing on or purchasing pre-owned luxury goods with confidence can register for KOMEHYO membership today. New members will receive special vouchers worth a total of 4,000 baht, redeemable for product purchases and reselling services at KOMEHYO, subject to the company’s terms and conditions.

Currently, KOMEHYO operates eight stores in Thailand, located at: Central@centralwOrld (2nd floor), Central Bangna (1st floor), Terminal 21 Rama 3 (G floor), J-Park Sriracha Nihon Mura (2nd floor), The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi (M floor), Kingsquare Community Mall (2nd floor), Central Plaza Ladprao (2nd floor), and Central Pinklao (1st floor), along with a Buying Center at Central Tower (12M Floor), which is dedicated to seller-related services.

Customers and interested individuals can browse items or schedule appraisal appointments at any store, the Buying Center, or online at www.komehyo.co.th and Facebook: Komehyo Thailand.
