HaadThip Reports 10% First-Half Sales Growth Amid Economic Volatility, Drives Second-Half Growth with Cost Management and New Product Launches

HaadThip Public Company Limited (HTC) announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, reporting quarterly sales revenue of THB 2,106.4 million. This brought total sales revenue for the first half of 2026 to THB 4,455.9 million, an increase of 10.3% compared with the same period last year.  The results were achieved amid global economic volatility stemming from ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which continued to affect costs.  Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the company remains focused on effective cost management while accelerating the launch of new products designed to appeal to consumers.

HaadThip Public Company Limited (HTC), the manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola beverages across 14 provinces in Southern Thailand, announced its operating results for the second quarter of 2026, with business performance remaining strong.  Quarterly sales revenue reached THB 2,106.4 million, representing growth of 8.7% compared with the same period last year.  Combined with first-quarter performance, total sales revenue for the first half of 2026 reached THB 4,455.9 million, an increase of 10.3% year-on-year.  During the second quarter, the company faced cost volatility arising from the conflict in the Middle East. Nevertheless, effective production cost management enabled HaadThip to maintain a gross profit margin of 41.7% for the quarter, a decline of only 1 percentage point. For the first half of 2026, the gross profit margin stood at 41.9%, down only 0.5 percentage points compared with the same period in 2025.

Sales and marketing expenses increased during the second quarter in line with sales growth, particularly in the Modern Trade channel, which continued to expand through an increasing number of outlets. At the same time, the company continued to drive growth in its non-carbonated beverage portfolio in response to current market conditions. HaadThip also adjusted employee benefits to reflect both sales growth and the rising cost of living.  As a result, selling, general and administrative (SG&A) expenses totaled THB 790.3 million in the second quarter and THB 1,517.9 million for the first six months of the year, representing year-on-year increases of 19.6% and 14.8%, respectively. Together with a slight increase in finance costs related to previous investments in production line expansion, the company recorded net profit of THB 101.9 million for the second quarter and THB 300.3 million for the first half of 2026, representing decreases of 28.5% and 7.5%, respectively.

Major General Patchara Rattakul, Chief Executive Officer, shared his perspective on the current business environment and the outlook for the second half of the year. “The first half of 2026 presented another significant test for us. The conflict in the Middle East, which has intensified since the end of the first quarter, continued to impact energy, transportation and packaging costs, while tourist arrivals also fell below expectations. Nevertheless, through strong market execution, a continued focus on consumer affordability,  and growth in our drinking water portfolio, we were able to achieve approximately 10% growth in total sales revenue during the first half of the year.  Looking ahead to the second half, geopolitical risks remain a key factor requiring us to manage costs as efficiently as possible, while continuing to introduce new products that resonate with consumers. In the third quarter, we have already launched three new products – Coke Zero Zero, with zero sugar and zero caffeine; Sprite Chill, a lemon-lime and mint-flavored beverage; and most recently, Fanta Fantasies, available in two flavors, Floral Bloom Berry and Lavender Berry Bliss, with Thailand being the first market in the world to launch the products. We believe these innovations will bring fresh excitement to the market and generate incremental revenue for our sparkling beverage portfolio, which remains one of our key strengths.”

According to Nielsen Thailand, as of the end of the second quarter of 2026, HaadThip remained the market leader in the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage category across Southern Thailand, with a 23.8% value market share. In the sparkling beverage category, HaadThip also maintained its market-leading position in Southern Thailand, with a 77.5% market share
