held from 18–21 June 2026 at centralwOrld PULSE, Levels 7–8.
THEPOP 2026 opened its first day with great excitement, welcoming a vibrant crowd of artists, collectors, and art lovers. More than 60 artists, leading studios, and galleries from across Asia and around the world, representing 12 countries and regions including Thailand, the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, and Myanmar, came together to showcase Art Toys, Character IPs, and contemporary art. The fair highlights the potential of a new generation of creators and supports Thailand’s ambition to become a creative economy hub of Asia.
Organized by Bangkok Contemporary Art Fair, THEPOP 2026 was created as an international platform that encourages emerging artists and creators from diverse backgrounds to freely present their ideas and creativity. Under the theme “Safe to Bloom,” the fair takes place from 18–21 June 2026 at centralwOrld PULSE, Levels 7–8, with free admission throughout the event.
The opening ceremony was led by Ms. Yvonne Yang from Bangkok Contemporary Art Fair Co., Ltd., who delivered the opening remarks and joined partners, artists, and the fair’s mascots for a commemorative photo session. In the evening, visitors enjoyed a special appearance by Tay Tawan and Polcasan, who explored the fair and participated in activities with attendees.
The main exhibition area features over 60 artists, leading studios, and galleries, including Space Rabbit Studio, Fools Paradise, Takuma Fujisaki, Unbox Industries, Tahilalats, Fumeancat, Tum Ulit, Nual the Dog, KNN.Five, Chen Yu-Lin, Mr. Do Nothing, and Henky.
One of the unmissable highlights of THEPOP 2026 is “Blooming in Silence — A Cat Among Singing Plants,” the first solo exhibition in Thailand by Taiwanese artist and illustrator Chen Yu-Lin, who has previously collaborated with internationally renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton and China Airlines.
Beyond the exhibitions, THEPOP 2026 offers various interactive zones where visitors can relax, enjoy diverse experiences, and create their own artworks. One of the most popular spots is the relaxation area designed by give.me.museum, featuring a Balloon Installation of the artist’s signature red-haired girl character, “Nong Due,” alongside flower-shaped beanbags where visitors can unwind and recharge.
The fair also presents a wide range of activities throughout the day, including a T-shirt screen-printing workshop in collaboration with Epson, a Blacklight Room where visitors can leave messages and create artworks using Posca pens, Artist Talks featuring creators sharing their experiences, Fan Sign Sessions, a live wood-carving demonstration by Henky, and Lucky Draw opportunities featuring limited-edition collectibles from THΞPOP.
