BANGKOK, 8 May 2026 – PwC has been named as a global leader in sustainability consulting by Verdantix, an independent research and advisory firm, in its Green Quadrant: Sustainability Consulting (2026) report.

The recognition reflects PwC’s strong capabilities in delivering sustainability services that are closely integrated with business strategy, helping organisations translate sustainability ambitions into tangible commercial value.
According to the Verdantix report, PwC’s strengths lie in its business driven and highly actionable approach to sustainability consulting. It notes, “As sustainability moved from compliance to commercial value in 2024-2025, PwC moved faster than its peers to align its services to business triggers, framing sustainability in financial and operational terms.”
Additionally, PwC has continued to invest in upskilling its sustainability professionals to help organisations translate environmental, social and governance (ESG) priorities into measurable business outcomes. This commitment has broadened PwC’s client base, which now extends well beyond chief sustainability officers (CSOs) to include chief financial officers (CFOs), chief operating officers (COOs) and chief information officers (CIOs). PwC has also seen a significant increase in transformation programmes where sustainability is embedded as a core component of organisations’ overall business strategy.
PwC also stands out for its “end-to-end sustainability delivery offering for global firms, across sectors.” The PwC Global network brings together sustainability strategy, reporting and execution, and “using sustainability data as business data, to inform operational and investment decisions.”
With an extensive country and regional delivery network, PwC provides scalable sustainability solutions at a global level, while remaining highly attuned to the specific context and needs of individual markets.
Lynne Baber, Partner, Deputy Global Sustainability Leader, PwC UK, said:
“We are thrilled to be named a Global Leader in Green Quadrant: Sustainability Consulting (2026) by Verdantix. To stay competitive, companies should embed sustainability across operations — not just to meet standards, but to create value. That means rethinking how capital is deployed, supply chains are structured, risks are measured and infrastructure is modernised — all while enabling smarter, faster decisions through data and technology. Embedding sustainability into strategy, operations and culture can create business value by guiding decarbonisation, effectively allocating capital, reducing energy demand, strengthening supply chain resilience and mitigating risks.”
Chayathorn Chanruangvanich, ESG and Corporate Sustainability Leader, PwC Thailand, added:
“PwC’s recognition by Verdantix as a global leader in sustainability consulting underscores our conviction that sustainability goes far beyond compliance or reporting obligations—it’s a fundamental driver of lasting business value and growth. Through our global network, PwC seamlessly integrates strategy, technology and data to support organisations in achieving structured, measurable progress on their sustainability journeys. At PwC Thailand, we harness global expertise and best practices, tailoring them to the Thai business landscape—especially as sustainability increasingly determines access to capital, competitiveness, effective risk management and create value for business.”
