On March 14, 2026, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC) of the Embassy of India in Thailand, in partnership with the We-Women network, hosted a warm and vibrant International Women’s Day celebration. The event saw a large turnout of both Thai and Indian attendees at the SVCC center on Sukhumvit 25.
The event featured a special panel discussion titled “Shakti: Nurturing the Self, Strengthening Families, Evolving Society.” The session was moderated by Dr. Manisha Bose, founder of the We-Women network, and featured a distinguished panel of female leaders, including Pacharee Pantoomano from BrandNow.asia, Viyada Engchuan, Manisha Misra, Deepali Kejriwal, and Kim Narula.
The discussion emphasized the power of “Shakti”—the creative energy inherent in every woman—as a vital foundation for strengthening families and driving societal progress. Attendees were also treated to cultural performances reflecting the deep bonds between the two nations, featuring Indian classical dance and Thai Lanna folk dance.
Ms. Pacharee Pantoomano, a panelist and brand strategy expert, shared her perspective:
