AXA Thailand Welcomes Legendary Tenor Plácido Domingo to Bangkok’s 27th International Festival of Dance and Music

AXA Insurance Thailand is proud to support Bangkok’s 27th International Festival of Dance and Music as the legendary tenor Plácido Domingo makes his long-awaited debut in Thailand for one exclusive performance.

Recognised as one of the world’s greatest classical artists—and as a member of the iconic Three Tenors alongside José Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti—Domingo has won 12 Grammy Awards, appeared in over 4,400 performances, recorded more than 100 albums, and performed roles in over 150 operas throughout his illustrious career.

This historic Bangkok concert also featured American soprano Monica Conesa, celebrated for becoming the youngest Aida in the history of Italy’s Arena di Verona, alongside internationally renowned conductor Beatrice Venezi, named one of Forbes’ 100 most influential Italian women.

Guillaume Mirabaud, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Insurance Thailand, said: “We are honored to support this meaningful festival for the fourth consecutive year. At AXA, supporting arts and culture is central to our mission. This sponsorship reflects our strategic commitment to making art accessible to communities and society at large. We believe in empowering people to learn about and appreciate the rich diversity of different environments and cultures, which serves as a foundation for creating exceptional and innovative works that benefit society as a whole.”

Bangkok’s 27th International Festival of Dance and Music runs from September 6 to October 15, 2025, at the Main Hall of the Thailand Cultural Centre.
