Amid the unrest along the Thai–Cambodian border, where soldiers and medical personnel are working tirelessly to safeguard the public and save lives, True Corporation has stepped in to support the Royal Thai Army by providing essential medical equipment to strengthen this critical mission. Lieutenant General Kriangchai Prasongsukarn, Director-General of the Royal Thai Army Medical Department, graciously accepted the donation from Mr. Suphachai Chearavanont, Chief Executive Officer, Charoen Pokphand Group and Chair of the Board of Directors, True Corporation Plc, together with Mr. Pakkhapon Ngamlak, Chief Operating Officer of Charoen Pokphand Group, and Mr. Chakkrit Urairat, Chief Regulatory and Government Relations Officer of True Corporation Plc. The donation comprises 10 high-performance portable ventilators, worth a total of 4,000,000 baht, to be deployed in caring for soldiers and emergency patients in border areas. The Ventway ventilators are innovative devices specifically designed for emergency transport. Weighing only 1.1 kilograms, they can be used for both children and adults, covering all emergency modes, and come with an integrated air supply system that eliminates the need for external oxygen tanks.
This handover is part of the CP Group’s collective commitment to doing good for society. In addition to True Corporation’s donation of portable ventilators, CPF and Ascend Money also contributed by providing two smart ambulances. Altogether, the total support amounts to 10 million baht, aimed at strengthening medical capabilities along the border both in life-saving missions and in the rapid transport of patients requiring urgent care.
In addition to supporting medical equipment, True Corporation has also reinforced 5G–4G–3G communication signals along the Thai–Cambodian border to ensure seamless connectivity for government agencies and the military in carrying out their missions. This support was provided in response to government requests to strengthen network signals for national security operations, while strictly adhering to NBTC regulations on signal tower control.
