TEA ART WEEKEND “Poetic Machines & Paper Heroes….” A New Art Universe in Rama III

The festival marks the launch of the TEA Art Hub (Thai East Asian Art Hub), a brand-new creative space in a warehouse behind KingSquare Community, Rama III. Here, you are invited to step into a world of art, film, animation, and live performance, where Japanese and East Asian inspirations flow into the creative heartbeat of Thailand.

The festival’s flagship exhibition,“Poetic Machines & Paper Heroes: From Quiet Determination to Daring Dreams” reimagines the “spirit of quiet resolve” found in Japanese creators through contemporary art, paper-crafted robots, heroes from book pages, dream machines, classic cinema, and live performances that set inspiration in motion.

The exhibition features a rare Japanese film programme, short films, video art, live performance, live music with film, and a Mini Art Fair where artists, galleries, and brands—stylish, cool, and charming—showcase their works and products, drawing you closer to the heart of contemporary culture.

Behind all of this are the driving forces who recognise the value of advancing the arts: Japan Foundation, Documentary Club, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts at Chulalongkorn University, SiamANIMA, Flavours of Thai Independent Animation, and Avagarde Art Agency—the key connectors who bring together Asian artists, classic films, short films, animation, live acts, and cross-cultural conversations. They do more than “support”, they help turn dreams into reality.

Meanwhile, BSC Cosmetology, I C Lab, His & Her, and era-won x Stranger Things add vibrant energy to the festival through fashion, pop culture, community, and creative ideas that weave the past and future into one seamless experience.

Every corner of TEA Art Weekend goes beyond a simple event space—it is a spiritual crossroads where cultures merge into a powerful force.

Together, these elements create a significant ripple across  the world of creativity.

Join us at TEA Art Weekend—a universe sparked by the past and propelled forward by powerful collaboration.
