          ETDA to Host Thailand Cybersecurity 2019
          Featuring the powerful collaboration with never-seen-before cybersecurity innovations and the knowledge sharing by cybersecurity experts coming from all over the world for Thai people to be ready for cybersecurity global trends
          Electronic Transactions Development Agency or ETDA, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), partner with the global recognised cyber event organisers: RSA(R) Conference and CYBERTECH Global Events to organise "Thailand Cybersecurity 2019", an international conference and exhibition, from June 19 to 20 at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok. Under the concept of Cybersecurity Digital Transformation, Thailand Cybersecurity 2019 aims to increase awareness of Thai people regarding cybersecurity. The event will feature the knowledge sharing by the world's experts and the unveiling of the newest cybersecurity innovations by the leading companies around the world. A business matching will also be served to encourage everyone to establish strong cybersecurity collaboration.
          Surangkana Wayuparb, Executive Director and CEO of ETDA, said that our core vision is to promote online transactions and e-Commerce. We also have another crucial role as the regulator monitoring and supervising digital service businesses in Thailand. In addition, in the future, we will collaborate with National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and Data Protection Agency (DPA) to build trust in digital technology, online transactions and e-Commerce, and boost Thailand's economic stability.
          Thailand Cybersecurity 2019 is recognised as a mega cybersecurity event in Thailand, developed from Thailand Cybersecurity Week in 2017 and Big Change to Big Chance in 2018 that was held to mark the agency's eight anniversary. The highlight from ETDA itself will be the showcase of ETDA's cybersecurity operation and accomplishments to help encourage organizations and individual to realize the importance of cybersecurity as it has a profound impact on Thailand's digital economy and nearly every aspect of our lives.
          Joining hands with the world's most recognised cybersecurity organisers: RSA(R) Conference and CYBERTECH Global Events, Thailand Cybersecurity 2019 is escalated to ASEAN level and will bring the most well-known cybersecurity events such as RSA(R)C UNPLUGGED and CYBERTECH ASIA 2019 to be organised under the same roof.
          "We are working with many leading cybersecurity organizations and companies in both national and international levels and inviting the high-profile cybersecurity gurus from all over the world. ETDA and all entities concerned would really like to see the event that will portray the power of collaboration and genuinely serves as the platform for knowledge and experience sharing. A series of international seminars is also on the agenda, with 25 experts in the field of digital technology coming from all over the world to share their experiences. Among the scheduled topics are Transforming Thailand Cybersecurity; The Next Chapter for AI: Ethics and Governance; Data Governance and Privacy Program Management; Industry Recommendation for Security Standards; Regulator's Roles and Responsibilities; Cyberthreat Landscape in Thailand and the Asia Pacific Region, to name just a few. There will be a zone for business matching, where everyone involved will be able to enhance cybersecurity collaboration,"said Surangkana.
