Hotel Indigo Shows True Hospitality to Neighbours Across Bangkok

Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road has today announced that its colleagues have been participating in a range of activities as part of IHG's annual Giving for Good month – a key part of IHG's True Hospitality for Good programme, dedicated to communities and charitable giving for a positive local impact on a global scale.
Hotel Indigo Bangkok showed its support for Giving for Good month by encouraging team members and colleagues to share their generosity and support with local communities through various activities. Groups visited the elderly, donated blood, distributed toys to children, and shared refreshments and tips on overcoming Office Syndrome with neighbours and colleagues.
True Hospitality for Good is IHG's programme for communities and charitable giving. With the support of colleagues, hotel owners, and charity partners, the programme helps to change lives for the better through building skills and education in hospitality, and helping communities when disasters strike. As part of this programme, IHG colleagues dedicate every September, Giving for Good month, to doing good for others. IHG colleagues bring this to life through volunteering, taking care of the environment and participating in wellbeing activities. For each colleague to get involved, IHG makes a donation on their behalf to a nominated charity partner.
Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road kicked off the Giving For Good month by sharing lunch and joining in a sing-along with some elderly friends at Ban Bang Khae Social Welfare Development Centre for Older Persons. The next week, team members and colleagues donated blood at a Thai Red Cross blood drive to help those in need of medical assistance, while others participated in a workshop on how to reduce the stress and tension of office syndrome. Continuing with the neighbourly spirit, colleagues gave away refreshing juices to passers-by in front of the hotel, and smiles of joy spread across the cancer ward at the Queen Sirikit National Institute for Child Health as toys, dolls, and colouring books were distributed.
Mr. Michiel de Kleer, General Manager at Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road, commented: "We at Hotel Indigo Bangkok love our neighbours and are proud to participate in the Giving for Good Month with our IHG family. Showing hospitality to all our neighbours is what we strive for every day, and these activities help motivate us all."
