Associate Professor Dr. Supong added that the Language Institute has leveraged information technology (IT) to enhance efficiency of producing English language professionals and reduce paper consumption. This computer-based test will enable them to serve more test-takers each year. The Language Institute expects about 3,000 people will apply for TU-GET (CBT) test annually, up from 20,000 people undertaking paper-based TU-GET test each year. It is also expected that computer-based test will completely replace paper-based test within the next 3-5 years.
