Deutsche Bank appoints director of Global Banking Financial Institutions Group, Asia

          Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Dhruv Shrikent as Director of Global Banking Financial Institutions Group (FIG) for Asia with immediate effect. Based in Hong Kong, Mr Shrikent is responsible for advising, originating and executing capital markets products and strategic advice to financial services clients. He will report to William Nichol, Managing Director and Head of FIG for Asia. 
          In announcing Mr Shrikent’s appointment, Mr Nichol said, “Dhruv is a trusted advisor to a number of leading regional financial institutions and has worked extensively in each country across Asia ex-Japan. We continue to see active capital markets activities, including structured balance sheet transactions among financial clients and his addition will ensure Deutsche Bank further reinforces its position as a leading player in the sector.”
          Mr Shrikent joins Deutsche Bank from Credit Suisse where he was Vice President of FIG Asia ex-Japan since 2000. During his 11 years of investment banking experience, Mr Shrikent participated in the listing of Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong, Bank Mandiri in Indonesia, China Life in Hong Kong and has advised on a number of M&A transactions for financial institutions in Asia.
          He also worked for Barclays de Zoete Wedd in Hong Kong and American Express Bank in India. Mr. Shrikent holds a Master of Finance Degree from Texas A&M University in the US.
