Oishi Green Tea Suspends Its Summer Promotion and Reallocates Its Budget to Help Fight COVID-19

“Oishi Green Tea”, the leader in the RTD green tea market in Thailand, has suspended its summer promotion in “Oishi Club” application for sweepstakes prizes including Toyota Yaris ATIV vehicles and a dream trip to Japan with 10 GMM Teen Idols from the fourth to sixth rounds of the draw and instead reallocated its 24 million budget as a donation to the Thai Red Cross Society, which will be passed on to seven hospitals.

In regards to the donation, Oishi Green Tea by Oishi Group PCL. under Thai Beverage PCL and in partnership with the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, is ready to stand with medical staff in the fight against COVID-19 with a total contribution of 24 million baht going to the Thai Red Cross Society, and which will be passed on to seven key hospitals. Of this amount, 14 million baht will be provided to seven hospitals, two million baht for each hospital which include King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Phramongkutklao Hospital, Siriraj Hospital, Ramathibodi Hospital, Thammasat University Hospital, Rajavithi Hospital, and Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute. In addition, Oishi Gold premium Japanese green tea no sugar and Oishi Eato sandwiches will provide products valued at 10 million baht, readily available to support medical staff caring for COVID-19 patients for a three month period.

As for the lucky winners of “Oishi Club” from the first to third rounds of the draw who won a Toyota Yaris ATIV remain eligible. However, the company is providing prize substitutions at an equivalent value for those who won the Japan trip. Oishi points that have been accumulated in the “Oishi Club” application are still eligible for other “prize redemptions.”
