From Classic Animations to 4 Live-action Blockbusters Experience Wonders from ‘Disney Magical Year’ Throughout 2019

          Walt Disney Studios is ready to keep Thai fans entertained throughout 2019 as their hearts are going to be captivated once again by four live-action movies based on classic animations with lingering impressions. Dumbo, Aladdin, The Lion King, and the sequel of Maleficent are upcoming live-action movies actualized under 'Disney Magical Year' concept to complement all movie lovers. Before these movies are in cinemas across Thailand, The Walt Disney (Thailand) would like to offer an exclusive access to secrets of Disney's journey in live-action filmmaking based on its famed animations. In the meantime, Disney would like to reassure Thai fans that the wait is almost over and a heartwarming story of Dumbo, a new born elephant with oversized ears who can fly, will be retold once again on the 28th of March at cinemas.

          Disney is pleased to cast a year-long spell with 'Disney Magical Year' as the filmmaking firm is going to recreate and reinterpret four of its memorable animations in a form of live-action movie. Dumbo, an awe-inspiring story of a new born elephant with oversized ears that can make him fly, will be in cinemas on March 28th followed by a legendary adventure of Aladdin on May 23rd. The first trailer of The Lion King, with 224.6 million views online within 24 hours, is a guarantee proving that this legacy animation will return on July 17th as a phenomenon live-action movie. Angelina Jolie finally comes back to take the throne in October with Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, a sequel to the previous installment. All these movies will truly make 2019 a year of Disney live-action.
