TikTok, the world's leading destination for short-form mobile video with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy, released global superstars BTS’ much-anticipated full-English track “Dynamite” to fans in Thailand on 21 August, 2020. The launch of the #BTS_Dynamite hashtag garnered the interest of millions.
In just a little more than two days, BTS recorded 100 million views and counting. Now, it is over 511.2 million views (September 2). This viewership smashes their previous record for their hit song “ON” which garnered 100 million views in almost three days. BTS fans in Thailand will now be able to enjoy the new song “Dynamite” on all 'BTS’ official channels. BTS officially joined TikTok on September 25, 2019, and soon claimed the world record for fastest time to reach one million followers, achieving a record time of 3 hours and 31 minutes.
At the 62nd GRAMMY Awards on January 26, BTS became the first Korean act to perform on stage.
