Jeff becomes Super App with more than 100 franchises sold in Asia

          With the sale of Mr Jeff's laundry franchises beginning two months ago, the company announced the change of the corporate brand name to Jeff, taking the first step to becoming a super services app which promotes, what they call, "The Good, Good Life".
          Bangkok, November 4th, 2019 – Following the launch of its laundry franchise sales two months ago, Mr Jeff has continued to gain momentum franchising its on-demand laundry and dry cleaning services across Asia. Thailand has become one of Mr Jeff's most important regional markets, in line with its decision to focus on international expansion efforts in Asia.
          The Spanish startup, that began as a laundry and dry cleaning home delivery service, announced the change of the corporate brand name to Jeff, taking the first step to becoming a super services app for the well-being of its users.
          The reason for this new name comes from a change in the business model, which incorporates new verticals to become a multiservice platform or "super app", offering users everything they need on a daily basis in just one click. This will be available through the platform which will bring the different care and wellness services together under the claim, "The Good, Good Life", the service platform that puts everything you need in your day-to-day life at your disposal.
          According to Eloi Gómez, CEO and co-founder of Jeff, "our obsession from day one has been to add value to the customer and we believe that we can do it, not just by washing and ironing their clothes, but also by offering them all the services they may need in their day-to-day lives."
          The first vertical being developed is dedicated to hairdressing and beauty, which was announced last June under the name ''Beauty Jeff'', which today celebrates the first Salon opening in Argentina. In addition, Jeff is also announcing its fitness services, Fit Jeff, which will start operating in the coming months.
          In this way, each of the different verticals will be included within "Jeff", but will also have their own brand name and entity. The laundry and dry cleaning home delivery service will continue to be called Mr Jeff, the hairdressing and beauty services business line will be called Beauty Jeff and the fitness services business line will be called Fit Jeff.
          "We did not want to distance ourselves from the reputation, and name recognition that we have achieved in the market with Mr Jeff. Therefore, it has been decided that each new business vertical incorporates the word "Jeff", so that the new business lines that are opened are easily identifiable with our brand," says Gomez.
In a matter of weeks, Jeff reached the market with the first 15 Mr Jeff franchises sold in popular areas like Bangkok, Chonburi, Phuket, Chiang Mai. By offering on-demand laundry services, conveniently accessible through the app, Mr Jeff aims to alleviate the stresses of the working population by doing their laundry in a time-efficient and reliable manner.
          With the rise of the subscription-based economy, there have been massive shifts across multiple industries. In the Thai society, many millennials are not able to take out time for leisure activities such as exercise or travel. Daily chores such as cleaning and laundry take up most of their time.
          "One of the reasons why we have seen so much interest in Mr Jeff is because we offer the benefits of low investment fees and the prospect of owning a profitable business'', said Mr Gómez. Jeff aims to sell more than 150 franchises by the end of the year in other parts of Asia.
