Siam Commercial Bank PCL has launched its new “SCB Family Plus Titanium MasterCard,” the first-ever “Credit Card Plus Deposit Account” service in Thailand. The card is aimed at married couples ready to start a family.
“With the current economic slowdown, the bank realizes the need for savings, and wants its customers to enjoy the most value for their money whenever they use their credit cards. To cater to their needs we have created the SCB Family Plus Card,” said Rungruang Sukkirdkijpiboon, SCB's Executive Vice President, Retail Lending Products.
The “Charge More, Save More for Your Children's Future” campaign, initiated under the Credit Card Plus Deposit Account service, gives cardholders a 1% refund whenever they use their credit card anywhere in the world. They will also be entitled to an additional 1% when refunded money is transferred to SCB fixed deposit accounts.Even more, special privilege packages are offered for families, featuring additional refunds for Happy Meals, and a Happy Day during which clients can receive a maximum refund of 5% when using their credit card at participating food restaurants on Children's Day, Family Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Attractive discounts are also available from more than 200 leading stores.
The debut of the SCB Family Plus Card will take place at the SCB Family Plus Party @ CentralWorld during January 10-11, at the Central Court and Forum Zone at the Central World Shopping Complex. Invited to join the party as distinguished guests are family members of Thai Star Lalita Sasiprapa (Miew), who will present the card, and nine celebrity families winning the “Warm Family” award granted by Praew Magazine, including the families of famous actor Ammarin Nitipon and noted song composer Nitipong Hoenak, and many activities and games will be provided at the event to give participating families an opportunity to celebrate Children's Day this year. Children will enjoy amazing fun activities they have never experienced before in Thailand with “Travel to Your Imagination in Gigantic Balloon World,” a game that will help sharpen their physical and analytical skills.The launch of the SCB Family Plus Card underlines the bank's leadership in the credit card innovation and card business activity.
